POS Online Store suggests buying a 3 track credit card reader because it provides the best value for your money. There are three tracks on the magstripe. Each track is .110-inch wide. Your credit card typically uses only tracks one and two. Track three is a read/write track (that includes an encrypted PIN, country code, currency units, amount authorized). We suggest MAGTEK if you're using PC-Charge software.
